Nutting Lake

Nutting Lake is a 67-acre great pond located in Billerica, Massachusetts, in the northwest Boston Metro area. This suburban lake is divided into two basins: East and West. Both have a max depth of 6 feet and a combined shoreline of 2.3 miles.

The Boston Logan International Airport is only 24 miles south in Boston. The closest location for urgent care is the MelroseWakefield Hospital, 17 miles south in Melrose, Massachusetts.

Life on the Water

Nutting Lake is the perfect summer getaway! There is a roughly quarter-acre beach, available to the public, on the southern shores of the Eastern basin.

Canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards are available to rent hourly here. Fishing is a popular pastime on the Western half of the basin.

Common freshwater fish in northern Massachusetts include bluegill, brown bullhead, largemouth bass, chain pickerel, and yellow perch.
