Over the years, Bald Eagle Lake has been traveled by a variety of watercraft, including canoes, wooden boats, motorboats, sailboats, pontoons, ski boats, powerboats, and more. It still sees a great variety today, with kayaks, pontoons, and ski boats being some of the most popular. Populations of bass, northern pike, walleye, sunfish, and perch keep anglers on their toes. For a more relaxing time, try swimming, sunning, or nature watching.
Downtown Flint features several unique restaurants where you can dine or enjoy a drink. Chevy Commons State Park and Riverbank Park are great places to view the Flint River. Mt Holly Ski & Snowboard Resort is less than 10 miles from Bald Eagle Lake. The park features a high-speed lift and several slope levels. In the summer, the park is an offroading location! Detroit Zoo, Belle Isle, Detroit Institute of Arts, Motown Museum, Michigan Science Center, and Guardian Building are great places to visit in the big city.
